Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be an integral part of the quality assurance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to quality management, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician Location: Salem, OR Pay Range: $20.00/hour Position Type: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire Shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday What's the Job? Monitor and audit production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards Read and interpret product specifications to verify product conformity Perform laboratory analysis on raw materials and finished products according to work instructions Place non-conforming products on “hold,” document their status, and communicate findings to supervisors and QA managers Assist in special projects and ensure accurate data collection and record-keeping What's Needed? Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred Experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, food manufacturing experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently with strong initiative and reliability What's in it for me?
