(Share this job with your network via Facebook or Twitter with the links above!)What We're Looking For:* At least 6 months of experience in a high volume, fast-paced retail sales or customer service position* Ability to remain 100% compliant in a highly-regulated role, operating under the microscope of ever changing rules and regulations* Strong communication skills, since we'll rely on you to work seamlessly with customers, coworkers, and managers* Ability to master complex Point of Sale software - don't worry, we'll teach you!* Flawless cash handling skills* Strong work ethic with a team player mentality and a positive, can-do attitude - we work hard, but we all know it's worth itWhat We'll Need From You:* Regular and on-time attendance* Commitment to a minimum of a 40-hour work week that will have you on your feet for 10-12 hours per day* Availability to work a full-time schedule that will include weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts, including location changes and overtime as needed* Reliable transportation* Must be an Oregon state resident* High School Diploma or GED (this is a must; a college degree on top is awesome)* Be able to obtain your Oregon Marijuana Worker's PermitDoes this sound like you? Multiple or duplicate applications will not be processed.PurposeThe Sales Floor Lead is passionate about Marijuana, provides product knowledge to our patients, and explains the benefits of buying the product. The Sales Floor Lead is responsible for supporting the Retail Manager and Assistant Manager with all aspects of the daily retail operations, coaching and developing the retail team that delivers the LivWell retail promise to every customer. LivWell operates under the highest standards of professionalism.Essential Duties* Execute LivWell selling standards to meet team and individual sales goals and metrics.* Assist with the conduction of training of all new employees as well as the re-training of existing employees when needed.* Responsible for driving sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and well merchandised store environment.* Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained.* Model best-in-class service experience that consistently exceeds our customer's expectations.* Inspire customer confidence and create loyalty to our brand.* Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures.* Accountable for accurately utilizing LivWell's Point of Sale system.* Oversee organization of Sales Teams lunches, breaks, and shift changes.* Provide motivation and keep employee morale high.* Other duties as assigned by the Management Team.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities* Exceptional customer service skills.* Desire to learn about our products in order to assist customers.* Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale software and cash management is a plus.* Fun attitude and strong work ethic.* Strong attention to detail and must have a team-player mentality.* Ability to creatively cultivate long- term customer relationships.* Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a professional manner.* Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts and store location movement.Systems* Provide leadership and direction to departmental employees to ensure the effective use and management of systems.Compliance and Reporting* Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.* Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls and audit are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.Leadership and Supervision* Manage employees, including hiring and developing, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues.* Provide technical leadership and managerial direction to designated employees.* Establish initial and ongoing training for employees to ensure an adequate level of understanding regarding guidelines, policies and procedures.* Ensure that individual and team performance meets the Company's standards of service and quality.* Work collaboratively with all the Company's employees and business partners.* Provide effective leadership to employees to ensure a complete understanding of and alignment to the Company's vision, mission and values to maintain a positive work environment and a high level of morale.Other Duties* Other duties as assigned.Supervision* Works under the general supervision of the Assistant Manager and Store Manager.Job QualificationsEducation* College Degree preferred but not required* 2-3 years retail experience preferredProven success in the following job competencies:* Leadership* Results* Communication and Presentation* Customer Focus and Relationship Building* Influencing* Problem Solving and Decision Making* Information and Technology ProficiencyWorking Conditions* Able to use a computer for extended periods of time.* Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, warehouse, or retail environment* Able to perform general office managerial and administrative activities.* Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.* Regular and on-time attendance.* Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week.* Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.Note: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
