Description: Job Title: Switchboard Operator (Onsite)Employment: 40 hours/1.0 FTE: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Mon - Fri Overtime Status: non-exemptStarting rate: $ 16-$18/hourJob Summary:The Switchboard Operator is responsible for promptly and professionally answering a multiline phone system. Routes calls appropriately, offering voicemail or redirection of calls as needed. Following clinic guidelines, screens all incoming calls and directs the calls appropriately to physicians, other medical personnel, administrators and support staff. Places return calls as requested, pages staff and makes announcements as directed. Assists other departments and performs other duties as needed. Experience/Qualifications:Medical office: 1 year (preferred)Medical scheduling: 1 year (preferred)Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
