currently seeking candidates for a Manual Gear Cutter position in
Canby, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known

at every stage of their manufacturing process. Key
Responsibilities: · Set up and operate manual gear cutting machines
(including hobbing, shaping, or milling equipment) to produce gears
according to specifications. · Read and interpret blueprints, work
orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate gear dimensions
and tolerances. · Select proper tooling, fixtures, and materials
for each job and make necessary machine adjustments. · Monitor
machining operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence
to production schedules. · Perform in-process and final inspections
using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). ·
Maintain machines through routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic
preventative maintenance. · Identify and troubleshoot machining
issues, tool wear, or dimensional deviations. · Accurately document
production data, measurements, and any adjustments made during the
process. · Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean,
organized work environment. · Collaborate with team members and
supervisors to meet production goals and continuous improvement
initiatives. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent;
technical training or machining coursework preferred. · Prior
experience operating manual gear cutting or related machining
equipment is required. · Ability to read blueprints and use
precision measuring instruments. · Strong mechanical aptitude and
attention to detail. · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for
extended periods in a manufacturing environment. · Excellent
teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. · Flexibility
to work varying shifts, including overtime as needed. What We
