This pivotal role focuses on overseeing night-time logistics operations, ensuring efficient and safe transportation services that meet both company and regulatory standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to impact the supply chain process in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Manage and coordinate night shift logistics operations, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Supervise and schedule a team of CDL drivers; oversee the loading, transportation, and delivery of food products. Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repair to ensure fleet reliability and safety. Optimize route scheduling to enhance delivery efficiency while minimizing costs. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular training sessions with staff to ensure adherence to safety standards. Handle unexpected delays or emergencies, adjusting plans as necessary to meet delivery timelines. Collaborate with other department supervisors to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
