Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) – Days | Seaside, OR 13-Week Contract | Start Date: July 14, 2025 | 5x8s | No Weekends or Call Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a 13-week contract assignment at their beautiful coastal facility in Seaside, Oregon. If you're passionate about patient safety, skilled in endoscope reprocessing, and enjoy working with a close-knit surgical team — this opportunity is for you! Position Details: Start Date: July 14, 2025 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5x8s) Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital Charting System: Epic Orientation: 40 hours (non-billable) Job Location: Seaside, OR Key Responsibilities: Clean and sterilize instrumentation across the hospital and clinics Endoscope and specialty equipment reprocessing Assemble and organize instrument trays Use and monitor sterilization methods (Steam, Steris, Sterrad, ETO, etc.) Maintain aseptic techniques and proper labeling/documentation Operate washers, ultrasonic cleaners, and other decontamination equipment
