Service Rep I to join our team of dedicated employees at our
facility in Springfield, OR, as part of our Burton Mill Solutions
division. Come and grow with us!In this role, you will be
responsible for customer support and will process orders and
provide technical assistance and education for all products
manufactured and distributed by Burton Mill Solutions and its
contributory companies (Simonds, Wright Machine Tool, Global
Tooling, USNR, and any additional companies added later).How You
Will Make a Positive Impact:Process all inbound calls for internal
and external customers in a professional mannerAccurately quote,
enter, correct, and transmit customer orders, confirmations, and
work ordersAccurately enter purchase orders for products associated
with sales ordersWork with manufacturing plants to ensure on time
deliveriesHelp territory managers resolve open order issues to
ensure invoicing is completed on timeParticipate in national and
regional trade showsProduct Category Management/Purchasing
(including VMI inventory when necessary)Review the Open Order
Report weekly to ensure all orders that shipped are invoicedBe
available during regularly scheduled business hours via phone,
electronic correspondence, and in-person to promptly assist
internal and external customersss orders. This involves sitting or
standing at a desk and working with a computer for most of the
day.Check and respond to email regularly and in a timely fashion to
meet the needs of employees as well as internal and external
customersThe Value You Bring:Need to be at least 18 years of
ageHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrefer at least 2 years
proven sales or marketing experience in a similar position but not
requiredAbility to efficiently utilize various computer systems and
applications to complete job functions. Proficiency needed in
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must also be able
to learn and work in multiple ERP systems.Positive and effective
interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in
writing, with a wide range of audiencesAbility to accurately apply
basic to intermediate math skills (addition, subtraction,
multiplication, division, fractions, etc.)Demonstrated
decision-making, analytical and trouble shooting skills, critical
thinking abilities, and proven ability to work cross-functionally
with teams as well as individuallyMust be self-directed/motivated
and able to multi-task, work well under pressure, adapt to constant
and frequent change, and apply effective time management and
prioritization skillsMust be able to work a flexible work schedule,
including hours and days outside of the normal work schedule, with
or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business. Must
be able to work overtime and weekends when needed.Strong technical
