Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession:
Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Experience in
outpatient hand therapy is required. Experience working with
post-op hand surgeries and splinting is required. Clinical
experience in the practice setting is required. License: Graduate
of a program approved by the Committee on Accreditation in
Education of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Holds a
valid license to practice in the state of Oregon or is license
eligible. License must be verified prior to the start date.
Certifications: BLS from the AHA within 90 days of hire is
required. Certification in hand therapy is preferred. Must-Have:
Experience in outpatient hand therapy. Experience with post-op hand
surgeries and splinting. Epic charting experience is a hard stop
requirement. Description: The Occupational Therapist is responsible
for patient evaluation. The therapist develops and follows through
with treatment plans to support the mission. Education includes a
BS, MS, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. Certification by
NBCOT is required. Special equipment knowledge may be necessary.
Candidates are expected to float within the facility or to nearby
affiliates. Travelers who refuse to float may face contract
cancellation. Return staff policy applies to those previously
employed. Modules may be required and must be completed pre-start
and annually. Full compliance with job requirements is expected.
All certifications must be in hand at the time of submission.
