Physician Assistant | Surgery - Orthopedic Location: Coos Bay, OR Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Locum NP / PA – Orthopedics Oregon Facility Setting: Acute Care Hospital | Inpatient & Emergency Department Orthopedics We are seeking a Board-Certified NP or PA for a full-time Orthopedic APP role with an ASAP start . This is a hands-on opportunity working closely with orthopedic surgeons in a fast-paced inpatient and ED environment. Position Highlights ? Inpatient & ED orthopedic coverage ? Advanced orthopedic procedures ? First assist in surgery ? Epic EMR documentation ? Collaborative team-based practice ? Call coverage included (weekday, weekend & 24-hour rotation) Key Responsibilities ? Daily hospital rounds and patient management ? Develop and implement treatment plans ? Perform and assist with orthopedic procedures ? Respond to ED orthopedic consults ? Dictate H&Ps, discharge summaries & clinical documentation ? Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and quality initiatives ? Procedures May Include • Joint & bursa aspirations/injections • Closed reduction of fractures & dislocations • Cast, brace & splint applications • Wound closure, debridement & I&D • Tendon repair, pinning, hardware & k-wire removal • Regional anesthesia & digital blocks Requirements ? Requirements ? Board Certified NP or PA ? Oregon state license (required) ? Full-time availability ? Meets medical staff / allied health privilege criteria ? NPDB Self-Query (at submission) ?
