Job Description:

Vituity, a renowned leader in healthcare management services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. At Vituity, we are committed to transforming healthcare by providing exceptional services across emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care, anesthesiology, and acute psychiatry. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with physicians to deliver high-quality care and enhance patient outcomes in a dynamic hospital setting. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and establish appropriate treatment plans. Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications following established guidelines and state laws. Provide direct clinical services and manage overall patient care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on treatment and care plans, medications, and preventive health measures. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Maintain complete and accurate records of patient care in accordance with legal requirements and clinical policies. Strong diagnostic and clinical judgement skills Ability to operate medical equipment and perform procedures Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software Strong knowledge of disease prevention and health management Capacity for empathy and compassion in dealing with patients Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) Valid state license in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
