The OR (Operating Room) Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preparing the OR, assisting surgeons during operations, monitoring patient vital signs, ensuring strict sterile techniques, and collaborating with surgical teams for safe, efficient procedures. The RN OR also educates patients and families on pre- and post-operative care and maintains accurate surgical records.
