Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying
out treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility, strength,
and function. Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic
exercises, balance training, and functional activities. Observe and
document patient responses to therapy and communicate changes to
the supervising Physical Therapist. Instruct patients and families
on exercises and techniques for continued therapy at home. Maintain
accurate and timely patient records and progress notes. Ensure a
safe and clean treatment environment. Collaborate with the
healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Comply with
all state and federal regulations as well as facility policies.
