Job Description:
Education: · Bachelor’s degree in Sonography is preferred
Experience: · Four years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech · MUST
be proficient in general and OB, strong OB skills required
Licenses/ Certification/ Registration: · BLS from the AHA required
· Must have an active Sonography license with the Oregon Board of
Medical Imaging (OBMI). License can either be permanent or
temporary. · Must be registered with the American Registry for
Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in both Abdomen and OB/GYN
Special knowledge, skills, & abilities: · Must be capable of
operating state of the art ultrasound equipment, computer systems,
film processors and other supportive devices. · Must possess
interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively in a
team environment. · Must demonstrate empathy and compassion for
patients, families, visitors, and co-workers.
