As the Electroneurodiagnostic Technician you will provide a
comprehensive Neurology service to patients and perform
electroencephalogram (EEG) and electromyography (EMG) testing;
explain tests and procedures to patients in understandable terms.
You will be responsible for overseeing and participating in day to
day clinical care of patients. Employees are involved in direct
patient care in a clinic setting. In this position you will perform
EEG’s in Multi-Specialty Clinic for a Neurologist who specializes
in seizures. Primary Responsibilities: - Ensures direct, clear
communication with Neurologists for reporting critically abnormal
studies, requesting clinical assistance and relaying any patient
care concerns - Proactively manages EMG/EEG clinical schedule to
ensure timely patient access and physician presence during testing
procedures - Ensures appropriate referrals and authorizations are
obtained and eligibility is verified at least two (2) clinical days
prior to testing - Maintains EEG/EMG equipment, prepares patients
for procedures and records patients' electric potentials - Ensures
compliance with all state and federal regulations and
evidence-based practice guidelines and adheres to policies and

Required Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED - Current
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to complete BLS
certification within 90 days of hire - Intermediate computer and
telephone skills, including Microsoft Office suite Preferred
Qualifications: - Experience with EEG/EMG equipment - Experience in
neurological anatomy and related neurological disease processes -
Clinical experience in an acute care setting (preferably Neurology
and Pain Management) - Demonstrated proficiency in EMG/EEG testing
- Proven excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal
skills The hourly range for this role is $19.86 to $38.85 per hour
based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work
