Locum Gastroenterology need in Springfield, OR

Top Hourly Pay - Weeknight Call Pay - Gratis negotiable - Call Back Pay

Reason for coverage: Piloting GI Hospitalist program.

Must be Board Certified - ERCP, ACLS, BLS - OR License - Vaccination Required, No exemptions.

Credentialing Timeframe: Temps available in 60+ days

Dates of Coverage: Target Mid-September start - 6-12 months with potential to extend. Looking for 4 Full-Time Locum Physicians.

Practice Description: Setting: Hospital - Adult Inpatient

Daily Responsibilities: Rounding - New consults and procedures

Shifts/Schedule: Mondays 0700A through Saturdays 0700 - 12 hours w/ overnight call - Expected 5 on / 9 off rotation - 5 days/week with weekends off - 12 hour shifts with night call

Not required to be in facility overnight but will be on call.

Call Schedule/Responsibilities: Overnight call required during scheduled work weeks - PPD/Census: 10

Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: Provider will be the only inpatient GI physician but will have access to specialty consultants, as needed & will have ability to connect w/outpatient GI colleagues for workflow questions, etc.

Procedures Required/Preferred: Rounding, new consults and procedures
