Job Description Job Description As a Lube Technician, you will be an essential member of our service department, responsible for changing a vehicle's oil, check the transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our customers' vehicles leave our shop in optimal condition, providing customers with a safe and enjoyable driving experience. Royal Moore Toyota is growing and we are seeking skilled and experienced automotive Lube Service Technicians delivering top-notch service quality to our customers. We offer a great employee-centered working environment and the following benefits: Lube Service Technician Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Pay Flexible Working Hours Medical and Dental Insurance PTO & Sick Leave 401(K) Compensation: Starting at $17.00/hr ASE and state inspection certification reimbursement and all training expenses paid to further your career Growth Opportunities Paid Training Family owned business 4 day work week with opportunity for overtime Lube Service Technician Responsibilities: Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem Drive the vehicle for testing purposes Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various task Lube Service Technician Qualifications: Ability to identify the problem quickly Knowledge of automobiles Effective analytical and communication skills Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment High school diploma or GED Basic computer skills Enjoy working in a fast paced environment Excellent customer service skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Positive, friendly attitude Royal Moore Auto Center is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
