Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 per year A bit about us: We have an immediate opening with our client, a highly respected CPA firm, for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their collaborative team. This established practice has built their reputation in the Pacific Northwest on developing long-term client relationships across diverse industries and is affiliated with an international network of accounting professionals. As senior tax accountant, you will: Prepare and review corporate, individual, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns Research complex tax and accounting matters Consult with clients and assist with the performance of financial statement audits and reviews Develop year-end projections and income tax provisions Create related financial statement disclosures Prepare extensions and quarterly estimates Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities Demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative Additional duties and special projects as assigned We are seeking candidates with an active CPA license (or CPA in progress) and 1-5 years of recent tax or audit experience. A public accounting background is preferred, but not required. Interested applicants should be knowledgeable about UltraTax or ProSystem FX products and a have strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills.
